Description
Building upon our successful Mind Pivot: Integrating Nutritional Interventions for Healing Body and Mind in Recovery series in February, we are pleased to host a 12-week series of dynamic micro-trainings, designed to teach anyone working in the healthcare, addiction, and recovery fields how to implement evidence-based strategies that can not only enhance your well-being but also provide tools to integrate into your patient/client care. What You Can Expect: Self-Exploration: Over the next 12 weeks, fully immerse yourself in lifestyle medicine principles. Explore how your own lifestyle choices directly influence your health. By personally experiencing these strategies, you’ll gain an insightful understanding of their impact. Practice Integration: Take what you’ve learned and apply it directly to your practice. Enhance patient/client outcomes by implementing evidence-based lifestyle approaches. Education and Tools: Each session equips you with practical knowledge and tools. From nutrition to stress management, we cover it all. Expect engaging discussions, evidence-based insights, and actionable takeaways. Weekly Goals: Set personalized weekly goals aligned with lifestyle medicine principles. Whether it’s mindful eating, physical activity, or sleep hygiene. Food Demonstrations: Our food demonstrations highlight delicious, health-promoting meals. Learn how to prepare nourishing dishes you can recommend to your patients/clients. Meal Plans: We provide meal plans—nutritious and practical—for busy healthcare professionals like you. This cohort will meet weekly beginning July 11th. Each training is 30 minutes. We recommend attending all sessions, because they build upon one another. If you are not able to attend a training, please review the recording prior to the next training. Upon registration, all participants will recieve an overview of each week's session and topics. For more information, please email Genevieve Berry at gberry@wiche.edu.
